Imam Reza (AS) Intl. Festival inaugurates in Qom

The 17th edition of the Imam Reza (AS) International Festival has been inaugurated concurrent with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Masumeh (SA), the sister of Imam Reza (AS), at her holy shrine in the Iranian city of Qom.    

The festival is to offer a wide variety of programs, including theater performances, book fairs, art exhibitions and cultural seminars.  

Exhibitions of rare Persian and Arabic manuscripts and documents will be also held.

In line with the festival in Qom, different provinces across the country will also host special programs and performances such as Hamedan, Bushehr, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, North Khorasan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad and Markazi.    

Likewise, the festival will be held in several countries in collaboration with Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Ahl-ul-Bait World Assembly, and several other organizations.

The ten-day festival will wrap up in Mashhad city on July 14 which marks the birthday of Imam Reza (AS).
